(Newser) Former John Edwards aide and fake babydaddy Andrew Young is dishing on the specifics of the foiled ruse, including a seamy attempt to fake a paternity test. Youngs ABC News interview, set to air next week, is widely seen as the impetus for Edwards acknowledgment today that he is the father of Rielle Hunters baby, Frances Quinn Hunter. The New York Daily News got its hands on a copy.
Young says at one point Edwards told him to get a doctor to fake the DNA results. Young, who sequestered Hunter for months during the scandal, says the former senator asked him to steal a diaper from the baby so he could secretly do a DNA test to find out if this indeed is his child. In addition, NBC News confirms the widely reported rumor that John Edwards and his wife, Elizabeth, who is battling terminal cancer, have separated.
He should have used the gay alibi. Thats certainly believable.
Baby sez Daddy oughta take responsibility for her...
And he came how close to winning the presidency? Thanks, MSM - you’re doing a heck of a job informing the people!
Fake a DNA test? Can this man stoop any lower?
Two Americans, any one??
The poor baby should have been named Meal Ticket.
What a scumbag...his poor wife
This arrogant, empty suit faked his way through a trial that earned him multi-millions! Faking a paternity test sure wouldn’t have cost him any sleep.
He could still get away with the gay alibi. I would beleive it.
The lame/liberal MSM only informs the public if it is a Republican and covers up for the Democrats.
Conservatives can add him to the list of liberal democrat corruption.
This one nearly got elected VP!!
There. I corrected it for you. Lib wives hang on for the power, money & last name. ala Hilary Clinton.
This weeks National Inquirer has Edwards on the cover. He has apparently recently shacked up with another hussy who turned around a did a “tell all” on him.
No kidding?

They are having a field day over there about all of this.
See my #18 for link to story.
This sounds like a tired old plotline from The Young and the Restless.
