Ugh. We have a seriously ignorant electorate. With 21st century communications technology there isn’t much excuse.
So, in essence, that would be replacing John F. Kerry in the Senate with J. D. Hayworth. Sign me up for that. Contrary to what some people seem to think on this forum, there are some worse politicians than John McCain. Not a lot, but some.
Thanks - I did not know McCain helped Scott early on.
I still like Brown but I cannot stand Juan McCain. Reagan’s ghost could come back to pimp for Juan McCain and I would still contribute to any decent Repub running against stinking amnesty McCain and his **g friend Graham-nesty.
Right. If we can replace Progressive Senators with RINOS and Rinos with Conservatives...We win.
better him than Coakley, all I can say. Already Scott has turned into another Senator that conservatives hve to watch like a hawk. And let him know every chance that we supported him strongly and helped get him where he is now.
Does that mean he will also support Romney in 2012?
Well gee you could have ignored my post or offered some excuse or another. This way we could argue about stuff.
Instead you were humble and rational, leaving me without a response.

We got one today too in AZ. I think McCains polling against a potential run from JD has been bad for McCain. He is already putting out negative ads on the radio and JD isnt even declaring he will run.

This is a sticky wicket for Palin. Brown we knew was semi-RINO to RINO. Hey, I’m as happy as the next guy about last night...but we’re dealing with next steps now...
**McCain supported Brown months ago, back when no one thought he had a chance. Now Brown owes McCain. Thats how the game of politics is played.

While these are important issues, and McLame’s campaign is now, what’s equally important is that we defeat socialism care in 2010. So Brown brings us a SHOT at that and we have to deal with these other consequences.
The real problem in the McLame situation imho, is Sarah Palin...can’t she just wait to see who comes out of the primary.
Let’s not forget Marco Rubio and the ‘annointed’ Charlie Crist who’s on the ropes. Does Sarah really want to tie her star to McLame?
She’s also going to campaign for Perry in TX and one other person...
She has said that she would help any conservative who asked her, no matter the party. I guess her definition of “conservative” differs from mine.
To her credit the awful rino Mark Kirk in Illinois asked her help and she ignored him.
“She has said that she would help any conservative who asked her, no matter the party.”
This is populism...you and I and she all know there are no ‘conservatives’ in the RAT party. But she won’t say that, as it’s more appealing to say what she said. And that said, what does she owe McLame?
“I guess her definition of conservative differs from mine.

That’s good. OK, we have a baseline...now, let’s define ‘conservative’ and move to the right please!
RINO?
Wow, this is only the 4th or 5th thread on this. I think we should just take Scott Brown out behind the woodwshed and shoot him. What scum!
If you listened to Brown’s victory speech last night, you would understand his campaigning for McCain.
How do we know this is true? The link you have provided connects to a blank page. It’s not substantiated.
What I find highly offensive is that Scott Brown hasn't even been seated yet and we already have the nasty conservative purists trashing him and calling him names.
Scott Brown has done something no other conservative or Republican has been able to do in Massachusetts for decades. He ran a clean campaign based on conservative issues in one of the bluest of the blue states and won the day by championing an essentially conservative agenda. In other words, conservatism won. Scott wasn't shy about expressing his conservative thoughts and directly speaking out against Obama's policies, something moderate Republicans don't dare to do.
There is nothing liberal in defeating the monstrous healthcare bill, which if passed would destroy America as we know it. There is nothing liberal in wanting smaller government, cutting taxes, building a strong national defense, standing tough on the war on terror, tackling illegal immigration, opposing same-sex marriage, and getting the government out of people's lives. Those are conservatives ideas and Scott is an unabashed conservative who ran on those issues!
But the Obama sympathizers, those conservatives who probably voted for Obama (considering that 20% of conservatives voted for him in 2008), have been trashing Scott Brown from day one, so it's not a surprise they are looking for any excuse to keep pounding on him. Notice how they hardly ever attack Obama, and now they don't seem to care if Brown's election stops the healthcare bill. Nope, they don't care about that, but they are looking for anything to criticize the man. They come across as Obama sympathizers to me.
McCain campaigned for Brown when few on this site even knew Brown existed, and just as Sarah Palin had some kind words to say about McCain, so Brown may have some kind words for McCain. He is simply returning the favor. Instead of trashing the man who is going to save all Americans from this horrible healthcare legislation, we should find a way to convey a civilized message that McCain's time has passed and we need a new representative from AZ with more conservative ideas, like JD Hayworth.
I just clicked on it a moment ago and didn't get a blank page.
But just in case, there was another thread about this...
