Senator Jim Webb puts out a statement that puts the notion of a quick Senate vote out of reach and pretty much makes a certification fight moot:

I caught that in the speech and found it refreshing because I fought hard
here in VA to keep him out of office. It may just be posturing.
I'll never trust a rat's words when they capitulate outside of the party principle.
