Folks,
This is my first "original" posting to FR...although I have posted a few comments over the years. If the mods think this needs to be moved somewher else, ok.
Here is the bottom line: everyone knows about the Haiti earthquake, and all the response efforts going on.
I wanted to share with all FREEPERS some info about Team Rubicon: this is a group of former soldiers/marines who are SELF FINANCED who SELF DEPLOYED to Haiti, and are doing some fantastic work in country.
Details about their mission can be seen by going to www.blackfive.net, and follow their links about Team Rubicon. You can also track what the team is doing (AND DONATE MONEY TO SUPPORT THEM) by going to www.http://badgerjake.blogspot.com/.
This is all being done by "ordinary" American folks, most of whom are vets.
Any help that the readers of Free Republic can provide will be greatly appreciated.

God bless you for your work.
Your Badgerjake link is incorrect, however. The http needs to be removed.
I would post the correct link, but I don’t know how.
Team Rubicon: Jesuit - US Marine Veteran Medical Response in Haiti
Folks,
I hope someone smarter than me can help us out by posting clickable links (I don’t know how yet!).
I am working on the medical logistics support for Team Rubicon, and will post more info about it once we get it nailed down.

All you do is copy and paste it into your post. That’s it.
God bless and bttt.
These guys are the real deal.
bump!
Thank you for all you are doing!
I saw this story via Blackfive (via Instapundit) and also at Anchoress. I’ve given $$ twice already :-) and I’ve forwarded the blog to everyone in my email address book. The blog is definitely a help, it must be hard to keep it up what with everything else...but it does help alot.
God Bless you all!!!
BTTT
