"We are in deep s--- if we lose on Tuesday," a Democratic operative said.
A new poll out of Public Policy Polling on Monday underscored the depth of Coakley's challenge.
The poll showed Brown leading 51-46 overall, 64-32 among independents and winning 20 percent of the vote from those who backed Obama in 2008. On the flip side, the survey showed Coakley pulling just 4 percent of the vote from those who backed John McCain, in the 2008 presidential race.
And the poll reflected the enthusiasm gap from which Coakley suffers. Eighty percent of Brown supporters said they were "very excited" about Tuesday's election, while only 60 percent of Coakley supporters felt the same way.

Couldn't happen to a more deserving group of folks!
Not to mention rank stupidity and her all-too-successful charisma bypass operation.
She’s hoping that 0bama got them wee-wee’d up.

Ya think?
Another problem looms for Marcia. The weather in Massachusetts is going to be crappy tomorrow: slush from today’s snow freezing up tonight and then more snow on election day. Dems always fret about bad weather depressing their turnout, while Republicans tend to be reliable voters come rain or come shine. Couple lack of enthusiasm on the part of dems and supercharged enthusiasm on the part of Brown supporters with miserable weather conditions and we could see a real blowout tomorrow.
Aw, surely her two "lads" still do.
There are a lot of people like me who voted none of the above in 2008 for President and voted every incumbent out. Others sat out. The silent minority is going to push Brown over the top. FU lame stream media!

Love it, love it, LOVE IT!
Don’t know how many of you had the pleasure of seeing Chris Matthews’ mug on Morning Joe this a.m., but it was priceless! Even if Coakley somehow manages to pull this one out, it’s been fun to watch the flop sweat on the liberals’ brows. BWHAHAHAHAHAHA
I just called Barney Frank’s Newton, MA office to remind him that his seat is vulnerable and WHO do you think answered the phone?
That’s right.
I invite you to call HIM now.

How did the Fwank respond?
don’t you mean how did fwank wespond?
Rush just played a clip of a reporter asking people waiting on the Obama rally yesterday who they were there for. They all said Obama. He then asked if they wanted to see anyone else. They all said no and said they were not going to vote. Of course, some he spoke to were out of state.
FYI, cookley attended an MLK breakfast in Boston this morning and was one of the featured speakers. She took the opportunity to ask for everyone’s vote while there. Scott Brown correctly called her out for it after the event, saying that it was inappropriate to do so at this particular function. She is totally clueless.
He was most concerned about the fact that I am not in his “district.”
I think that’s code language for queers.
LOL
