A REPORT FROM THE SCOTT BROWN RALLY AT WORCESTER
Its an absolute mob scene. The police have closed off the streets. Its mind blowing. The hall is already full, and it holds 3,000 people. There may be another 1,000 people outside.
Meanwhile, reader Sean Fitzpatrick writes: Pictures dont do justice. Nothing like this in Mass since JFK. Worcester rally starts in thirty minutes and the streets are already packed. Heres a pic.
UPDATE: Fitzpatrick sends another picture from inside the hall, and comments: If the Brown campaign were worried that they wouldnt fill the hall then they neednt have. It is standing room only and the hall management is concerned about OVERcrowding.
I like the Whole World Is Watching sign at the lower left. Yep. And sometimes via cellphone pics.
ANOTHER UPDATE: Meanwhile, reportedly, Coakley cant fill a hall. Martha Coakley and Barack Obama held a rally today in Boston. They couldnt fill the hall. . . . It holds 3,000 and frankly only 2,000 to 2,500 showed up.
Video: Fail. Coakley & Obama Hold Rally In Boston-- Can't Fill It Up
It was like nothing I have ever seen in Massachusetts before. I haven't been surrounded by so many like-thinking conservatives since the Free Republic March for Justice in D.C. back in 1998. In fact, everybody in that crowd looked and acted like fellow Freepers. In Massachusetts!
On the way home, I plasted Brown signs in the back window of my car and got nothing but positive honks all the way home. There is something happening in this state of Massachuetts...I think the transition to becoming a red state has begun.
Will it be “The Scott Heard Round the World”: 234 years, 9 months to the day? 4/19/1775 - 1/19/2010
I'm just back from the Mechanic's Hall event, too.
This is the first time in my life I've ever attended any political rally, and it was friggin electrifying!
People in unison chanting "41, 41, 41", the whole crowd inside the hall spontaneously singing God Bless America and Take Me Out To The Ballgame, a sign saying "The SCOTT heard 'round the world!", the absolute throng of several thousand all pumped and realizing they are instrumental in giving Dear Reader a slapping he never expected.
This thing is larger than any of you outside of MA can understand. This is Massachusetts, where something like this isn't supposed to happen, but is, and is with such enthusiasm that few of us will ever experience.
Brace yourself, there's a tsunami forecast for Tuesday, January 19, and it's about to come crashing down on Washington big time!
btw, I took lots of photos, and if I can find a place to host them, I'll post them for all to see.
I wonder if Barney Frank is beginning to take note. How I would love to see him defeated.
That’s a GREAT sign!
This is nationwide, no matter what networks say or don’t say. I got calls from brothers and Mom in KY, telling me I better make darn sure I get out there and vote for Brown. I laughed, told them I could be flat on my back ill, and I would still drag myself to the polls if I had to! Hubby says the same thing, and he is going to make sure folks he works with who don’t ordinarily “bother” to vote, don’t think it matters anymore, GET OUT THERE AND VOTE!! He convinced 5 of them Friday, and they will be voting Brown!
I think one of the reasons Brown is a winning candidate is that he never looks like he’s campaigning.
He does it all so effortlessly.....makes it look he just happened to drop by.
He’s great at debating-—has a gift for the throwaway reponse....and he’s got a razor-sharp mind. A very impressive debater.
Think Bush -- a champion of ilegal immigration, who jailed border patrol agents, who court martialed soldiers fighting in his war, reneged on Social Security, reneged on nation building, gave huge amounts of money to big pharm for African aids, and funded big pharm's psycho drugs to control children....
Thanks for the ping. What a great crowd!
This is there chance to redeem themselves, I figure!
On the other hand it has to be a long day for Obama when very liberal Salon Magazine reports that Coakley had not warmed up the meager crowd for him.
“”President Obama speaks at a campaign stop for Democratic senate candidate ...
Salon -
The nominee herself had not yet ignited the crowd when the president appeared.”””
You are not alone in that. What an embarrassment he is, of epic proportions!
Wouldn’t that just be the sweetest thing?
Gawd .. to have him GONE .. to never have
to hear the lectures and that aggravatomg
listhping .. Oh .. sweet heaven.
And Jon Skerry?? Let them all go inter-
continental or inter-galactic and start
their own commie commune, and GOOD
RIDDANCE~~!
I stood out in front of the Palm Beach County recount center during the 2000 Bush/Gore Florida election recount for a couple of days with a “Mr. Daley: The whole world is watcing!” sign. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch the “watcing” until the very end. :(
You nailed it, I never, ever dreamed of a patriotic American being called a teabagger as that is something indecent or unamerican.
Don’t become over-confident. The libs will use every dirty trick in the book to insure Scott loses.
HELP SCOTT DEFEAT THE OBAMA SOCK PUPPET!!

Live in or near MA? Volunteers still needed at many regional offices. If you can help, please email Laura@brownforussenate.com and she will tell you how.
If you live in Massachusetts, become an election judge. In Boston they pay $135-$185 and they NEED Republican monitors.
Needed; military and retired law enforcement VFW and police organizations etc to monitor polls- prevent the voter fraud theyre plotting right now. Video tape everything; document everything; prosecute the perpetrators. http://www.cityofboston.gov/news/default.aspx?id=3599
