(((Hiya Stultis.))) No doubt it was probably I, since I confess to having a little bit of an obsession with the subject of cargo cults in general, and a tendency to see evidence of them in the Dem body politic in particular quite often.

In fact, now that you mention it, the Senate version of the ObamaCare bill reminds me of those micronesian cargo cultists during the years after WWII who scribbled gibberish onto banana leaves in little bamboo hut 'offices' hoping to replicate the recently departed US military's requisition clerks' success in getting crates of food supplies delivered by raft to their shores.

Expecting for one moment that the unremitting gibberish in that rickety, makehift banana republic-style monument to graft called ObamaCare will ever deliver 'reform' to the US health care system seems to me to be the ultimate exercise in cargo cultish credulity.
