How in the world is the miltary going to keep the peace in Haiti?

I thought I heard Gen. Keen say the UN was handling that??!! Did anyone else hear that?

Large gangs, running around with knives stealing food is not going to be easy to control, especially when so many people are hungry and desperate. The UN and our military is going to be overwhelmed. Maybe Obama will start bringing people from Haiti here to work, to redistribute the wealth in exchange for more votes.

UN peacekeepers have been in Haiti since 1993.United Nations involvement in Haiti started in February 1993 when the joint United Nations-OAS International Civilian Mission in Haiti (MICIVIH) was deployed. In September 1993, the Security Council set up the first United Nations peacekeeping operation in the country—the United Nations Mission in Haiti (UNMIH).
