Frum sees him as an antidote to the Tea Party madness:
Strong on defense and school choice, opposed to the Obama administrations signature initiatives, Brown voted in favor of Mitt Romneys health plan in Massachusetts. He describes himself as pro-choice (subject to reasonable limitations), accepts gay marriage in Massachusetts as a settled fact, and told the Boston Herald editorial board he would have voted to confirm Sonia Sotomayor.

Not completely sure, but her PAC's financial support for RINOs like Graham, Murkowski, and McCain speaks volumes, especially when it claims that it supports candidates who share its values.
In the radio debate the other day, Kennedy’s explanation for his “conservative” view of abortion is that he is completely pro-choice but just against the government funding it.
That tells me all I need to know about his complete lack of understanding of the foundational principles of Conservatism.
...which Brown supported too, apparently.
Which is another example of you making up a lie to attack someone on the right. So who do your work for Rab? Organizing for America? Act Up? Moveon.org? Democrat National Comittee?
No, that was Hoover.
Or did you just fall asleep during the day Hoover's disastrous presidency was discussed in U.S. history class?
Well said......Politics makes strange bedfellows. He(Brown) can stab me in the back later with Mclame. The guy that has a knife to my throat right now is Ozero. We can work on postponing Brown’s “down the road betrayals” later.
Social conservatives are limited government as well, they are the original, limited government constituency from 1776, libertarians are simply a cherry picking mix of conservative and hard left, letting them support conservative economics and liberal culture.
He's also the perfect example of someone who is politically tone deaf, and who allows his self-appointed position of perfect purity to undermine his innate common sense.
Outside of the personal dynamics of the candidates, absolutely true.
Oh great! Now I've gotta clean diet coke off my keyboard!
Oh, how cute! I got called a troll at post 80! LOL!
If it’s any consolation, I think Rabscuttle is a RINO.
Most of your articles are intellectuality dishonest at best, out right lies in some cases. Your claim Brown supports Cap and Tax is just the latest example of you lying to attack someone on the right.
So, why is it you only attack those on right, never ever find anyone on the Left to be upset with?
How exactly is the federal War on Drugs a form of limited government?
New tagline...
Shouldn't you be used to that by now? It has become something almost like the sun rising, you can set your watch to it.
SoCons are for limited government. Libertarians, on the other hand, would tend to allow, through their neglect, the social conditions to develop that would cause people to want bigger government.
Levi Johnston gets castigated for nude poses for some mag. Yet Scott Brown poses nude for Cosmopolitian and wins “America’s Most Sexiest Man” award and now it’s on and upward as Senator from MA. It really makes you wonder doesn’t it?
Are you suggesting that McCain, Graham, and Romney are on the "right"?
Because if you do examine my posts, preferably without drinking beforehand, you will find that the overwhelming majority attack the liberal super-RINO McCain.
You know, the same McCain who said in 2004 that he had no problem with the Democratic Party or any of its values and philosophies.
Now that you mention it...
Translation: socons love Big Government, so long as it does things they like and they are in charge.
through their neglect, the social conditions to develop that would cause people to want bigger government.
Are you saying that more laws are the answer to all of our social ills? Because that's exactly what most "conservative" government programs are--more Government!
Oh, and by the way, use of the Federal government for purposes of social engineering is generally a "progressive" or an authoritarian goal, not a conservative one.
