Panhandle, TX - Friday 01/15/2010
-- The Carson County Sheriff's Department says Pantex is on lockdown.
They wouldn't release anymore information except that they have a number of sheriff's officers at the nuclear facility, and they are investigating.
NewsChannel 10 will keep you updated as information becomes available.
That works !
they make and recycle plutonium pits(cores) for our nuclear forces
If they were hunting geese, they were probably shooting a lot. They heard them.
They had to hear them. I don’t know how they came up with the orange vest thing, but you don’t use em for geese. Good camo and layout blinds make you more or less invisible. That and 3.5 inch shells are loud, 10 or 12 gauge. If they were really employees, I’d bet 100 bucks they were hunting on plant property even if it was 2 miles away. We have coal fired plants here in Ill. that have near that much buffer.
That said, Pantex is as serious as a place can be. If there actually was a serious breach, the perps would have been greased on site
