I’ve have always thought so too. My theory is that he has spent so much time, reading and spouting the thoughts of other people (ie scripts) when he goes to think for himself, he can’t. All he can do is just regurgitates slogans.

Yeah, actually it's a pretty nice set-up, ain't it?

Alec and the rest of the sorrya$$ed world needs to say , "Thank you, America" for coming up with the best deal ever for humans on the here 'erf', "am I right or am I right, am I right?'(Ned Nedermier from Groundhog Day).

“Energy policy is the lynch pin of nearly all of our other economic problems.”

Really! I thought our economic problems were caused by the moral hazard created when Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac started purchasing high risk mortgages! I guess my MBA didn’t teach me a thing...

I suppose I should apply to the Film Actors Guild and get me some real learning.

As usual the stupid liberals do not know who they are messing with. They started the healthcare crap with the ultimate goal of destroying the insurance companies and thought that the insurance companies will roll over. Not only they could not do any damage to the insurance companies but these companies ended up the biggest winner in this healthcare bill and now they have tens of millions of new customers that otherwise they would have them.

Now liberals try to destroy the oil companies and they will end up totally destroying you. Why? Because they have hundred of billions of dollar to crush any liberal attempt against them.

Give it up liberals, you are weak, you are nobody. Even when you think you have power and control the government you really control very little. Always remember the healthcare bill to see how insignificant you are.

What a freaking idiot.....

OR pick on the Russians or the Chinese who have huge companies.

To blame the US again is another narrow minded, narrow sighted asinine position. Demonstrates zero forethought.

Well said oldleft. The fun part is Fannie and Freddie are still at it. Don’t you love the left, cause the problem, blame it on a Republican, then continue the practice. Nice. Remember Nixon’s war? That was a doozy of a tale still told to mullions of impressionable youths at all our best acadamies, both public and private. Another good one is the Democratic Party leadership on civil rights in the sixties. That one always cracks me up. Or how about the evil Republican foreign policy that supported Saddam. No mention is ever made of the fiasco caused by Carter in Iran that required us to cultivate a nut as an ally. One of my favorite Carter tales is him picking Mugabe as America’s dictator after he dictated Rhodesias demise. He hit it out of the ballpark on that one. Don’t forget Carter initiated the CRA. He had another one called CDR that looks a whole lot like our newly designed stimulus. Good thing we have an educated objective press to sort all of this out for the people, isn’t it?

It’s absolutely amazing how stupid Alec Baldwin is. I’m surprised someone so breathtakingly insipid can remember lines on a script.

Yes Hay, you are absolutely correct. Alec Baldwin is just one of many show business types who is dumber than a box of rocks. There are others too many to mention. There are several problems with these types:

1. Lack of Education- Most people in the Entertainment Business don't really have much education, either formal or informal.

2. Fantasy World- Entertainment is also by definition a departure from reality-at least to a degree. A successful entertainer becomes removed from the real world. They have people do things for them and basically kiss their you know what. This is mentally toxic.

3. Much too high of a ratio of Money to Intelligence. Successful entertainers can make buckets of money. They live in very wealthy communities and mingle with people of vastly greater intelligence. This leads them to believe they are cut from the same cloth as these very bright people. They aren't that intelligent but these folks are so dumb as not to be able to realize this.

4. Arrogance When you reach a certain level of success and when you have people telling you all the time you are great it tends to rub off on you. This manifests itself as arrogance with a guy as dumb as Baldwin. He's so dumb that he cannot even realize he's dumb and even people who agree with him are laughing at him behind his back.

5. Guilt- When you are making buckets of money, it's easy to think that others who have money are as undeserving as you are. What they do is so damned easy that they think anyone who has money doesn't deserve it either. Luck has much more to do with success in entertainment than any other endeavor. I'll exclude sports here. Luck has the LEAST impact in sports. Again their lack of intelligence comes into play here.

If we tied a string to Alec Baldwin’s fist, and tied the other end to a generator, couldn’t we power a small city as he repeatedly beat up Kim Bassinger?

Didn’t we just learn that a ‘war’ is ‘fighting words’. He is advocating violence against American companies. Pointing out hypocrisy to the left is like, well, just a waste of time...
