Wow. That certainly looks bad.
I’m sure more will be known about this soon enough.
Based on that better quality video, it looks more like an accident on a dark crowded sidewalk rather than a deliberate assault.
Been doing that since 1992 ....
I don’t think so. You need to read the account that is linked a few posts above.
Then again, after reading the accompanying blog entry, it now certainly looks like a planned blocking maneuver, with built-in plausible deniability.
Just did, and you’re right. The guy was blocking for the Rat.
Gee another name to call a common goon, staffer.
How PC of them.
From the horse's mouth:
After Coakley finished her answer, she began walking away from the restaurant, and I walked behind her asking why health care industry lobbyists were supporting her at the fundraiser. She didn't reply.
As I walked down the street, a man who appeared to be associated with the Coakley campaign pushed me into a freestanding metal railing. I ended up on the sidewalk. I was fine. He helped me up from the ground, but kept pushing up against me, blocking my path toward Coakley down the street.
He asked if I was with the media, and I told him I work for THE WEEKLY STANDARD. When I asked him who he worked for he replied, "I work for me." He demanded to see my credentials, and even though it was a public street, I showed them to him.
The Dems are really desperate.
“Teddy’s Seat” and health care are riding on this election and now they are in a dog fight. In one the most liberal states in the Union. With a bad candidate. Yeah, the Dims are panicking big time.
Guilty.
Bump for later reading
is she related to Dede Scozzafava??
Gee, whoda thunk dems are thugs? Shocking!
He must have a magnetic personality... heh
My wife and I play a game while watching the various news shows called "spot the liberal." When someone comes on who we have never seen before, before they speak I say "liberal or conservative?" Based upon looks alone, we get it right at least 95% of the time. Bottom line: They are crazy, and it shows.
He was definitely pushed/blocked on a public street.
Her staff must have trained under Stuart Smalley. Shoving down people at campaign events is his moniker.
