He had a hard-on whenever someone brought up “Urban Meyer” so this might shut him up in the Pac-10.

I am not impressed with Kiffin. I am very surprised that USC would choose him. I think they can do much better
To: stainlessbanner
He has a smoking hot wife.

My guess is that Bruce Pearl was hitting on Kiffin’s wife, and he decided to get her out of Knoxville.

I’d rather Bruce Pearl stay than Kiffin. It’s hard to compete against schools like Florida and Alabama whose home states produce many more football players than does Tennessee. Tennessee will end up being a better basketball school.

I am not impressed with Kiffin. I am very surprised that USC would choose him. I think they can do much better People said much the same about Pete Carroll. I think that I will reserve judgement until we see how he does. The fact that he learned from Carrol, had a lot of success with him, recruited with Carrol, and was part of the system will provide a lot of continuity. Especially with all the recent recruits who have given verbal notice.
If we see a lot of the recent commits drop out, it will be the first test.

Gone after one year. I guess he’d signed some sort of contract with Tennessee. Maybe it had an out for a USC offer.

The facts are that Kiffen and his Asst Coach whom is coming West with him, Ed Orgeron, were working for Pete the Cheat at the height of SUC indiscretions (Reggie Bush) This hire is the middle finger to the NCAA just when they are about to report there findings on SUC’s “Lack of Institutional Control” investigation. I say money be damned, SUC’s going to get hit even harder now.
