Sarah Palin is the prototypical example, of what the 1960s and 70s feminists said they wanted women to become, when we said they were lying.
She decided to become more than just a mom, and excelled.
She decided to remain faithful to her husband and remain married.
She had children, and raised them to be good people.
She sought to lead others, and impress upon them good values.
So what did the party that feminists clung to do? It trashed Sarah Palin non-stop. It forced her family to have to pay so much money for legal defense on trumped up charges, that she had to step down from public office.
It’s members attacked her children. One was attacked for getting pregnant out of wedlock, even though she exhibited good character by not destroying the life within her. One was the victim of thoughtless comments, because he was a child with Down’s Syndrome, whose mom was supposedly bad because she kept him with her when she traveled.
And then she was trashed for holding public office, because that made her a bad mother. Never mind most of the people in Congress and the White House have children.
And now that party, the leftist media fellow travelers, and you can count on it..., the university profs all trash her without rest.
So much for the credibility of the feminist movement that still clings to a degenerate political party. So much for the credibility of the Democrat party, that for so many years championed women to become Sarah Palin, so they could then seek to destroy what those women became with those nasty rights they said they wanted for them.
My guess is they don’t like her position on abortion the most. But the libs were tough on Hillary during the Obama primary too. Both a ‘threat to the One’.
I don’t think having 5 kids was the feminists model. Hillary had one and she got a master’s degree in something(sounds good anyways) . That is their model.
But those attacks did not stick nor get repeated around the country much. What I heard in MD, by republicans and democrats, and on trips around the country was “She is not qualified” . Then the feminists said it was an insult to pick someone unqualified just because she was a women. (They loved Hillary.)
Outside of here that is what most voters thought. Now I don't remember either McCain or Palin prepared for that argument with a good response and her interviews didnt go well, fit into that theme.
So then she quits her governors job and now those that think she is IT swear she will be President, by Magic I guess.
Damn straight.
