WASHINGTON DC, United States - A top US military commander responsible for the Middle East and the Gulf region said the United States has developed contingency plans to deal with Iran's nuclear facilities, insisting that they "can be bombed."
"Well, they certainly can be bombed," General David Petraeus, head of US Central Command, told CNN television as he commented on suggestions that Iranian nuclear facilities were heavily fortified.
"The level of effect would vary with who it is that carries it out, what ordnance they have, and what capability they can bring to bear," he added.
The network plans to air the interview later Sunday, but has released some excerpts.

You are right, there is nothing even resembling a Palestinian nation. They have tried to adopt a succession from the Philistines who went extinct some 3,000 years ago and could in no way be ancestors.
I hesitated at what word to use to describe the false modern “populace” that claims Palestinian land yet indicate the Palestinians are inviting self-destruction by supporting Iran. Hezbollah in Lebanon and HAMAS in Gaza.

Strategic bombing of sites built under city neighborhoods has a built in collateral amage. You are suggesting making scrambled eggs without breaking any eggs.

Collateral damage would be politically unpopular but are you going to sit around as cancer kills your body or go and have surgery in which parts of your sick body are removed? To avoid this collateral damage?
