This sick p.o.s. Dorgan will finish up his dirty work and then begin to rake in the bucks as a lobbyist... And lemme guess - - he and his family will have their own special, no waiting, Senate health care for life?

This way the Democrat who runs in North Dakota in 2010 can say “I didn’t vote for it!”.

Dorgan is like a sleeper agent for the global socialists. He is activated when they need him. Now that he has been activated for a major operation, and is no longer hidden, he can retire to the mother country (DC) and live in style for the rest of his life, a feudal lord in a a new medieval society.

Why, then, are they retiring?

You nailed it! Reminds me of what I heard about old Soviet Union, the privileged class had many special perks.

Why, then, are they retiring?

Mere conjecture on my part is they will use this unconstitutional bill to ensure other Dems replace those who are retiring.

If you are referring to Health Care Reform, I can't see how it would help elect Democrats. Americans oppose the bill by almost 2 to 1. Congressional approval levels are near all time lows. Fewer people identify themselves as Democrats than ever.

The way this bill was crafted, secret meetings, bribery, ignoring the people at Town Halls and at the marches has enraged and energized their opponents and dispirited their supporters.

They may have poisoned their chances for a generation.
