Diversion? Like the Mexicans come through one Port of Entry with a small amount of drugs that can be detected and all the cops for 200 miles around run to get in on it and get their share, meanwhile the semi-load goes thru the gate 50 miles down the road unchecked because all the gestapo ran to the diversion?
LOL! Perhaps it was R-12 Freon!!
We got rid of R-12 Freon in the early nineties supposedly to “stop the ozone hole” from growing. Here it is, 2010, and the ozone hole is still here.................just like global warming, it was a big hoax. Perhaps a trial run for global warming. It worked so well they decide to go for the carbon...................
Now THERE’S a bag of hazardous substance!
Coca Cola with made with REAL cane sugar!
Take two at bedtime!
Scanners, body pat downs, shoes off, purses and pockets emptied. Wouldn’t it be easier and economically sound to simply have bomb sniffing dogs at the screener lines?
Two security guards were sent to the hospital because of containers of Honey?
Were they deathly diabetic?
LOL!
Crappy Nappy can be the new Helen Thomas.
How much money is it costing the airlines and airports every time someone puts some cream of wheat in a tupperware container or nail polish remover in a vanilla bottle?
Gotta be expensive — but I guess we have to do it so we can catch the culprits, feed, house, lawyer them up and then they’ll get off because they don’t know our language or they had ADHD muslim style as a kid.
That’s on a mead to know basis.
“Wouldnt it be easier and economically sound to simply have bomb sniffing dogs at the screener lines?”
Only if they are allowed to sniff crotches.
That looks like a non-passable overaged drag queen!
Bakersfield’s not “California” as you know it.
Further, the airport is actually in OILDALE!
As a kid in the fifties, I used to fly United from LAX to Fresno. It was a whistle-stop trip on (obviously) a prop plane. I recall one on a DC6 where we had an engine fire. I remember making two stops in the central valley, but I can’t remember if Bakersfield was one of them, somehow I’m thinking Visalia and Delano. At any rate, it’s kind of interesting that half a century later, United prop planes are serving the valley.
