Hope it’s not a populated area - sounds like it could be a large craft (freighter)

MSNBC - http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/34711272/ns/us_news-life/ - reports:
WHEELING, Ill. - A small cargo plane crashed Tuesday near Chicago Executive Airport in Wheeling, Ill. There was no immediate word on fatalities or how many people were on board. Learjet at least wouldn’t be very big, and good news that it’s not near neighborhoods. Thanks.

I know that area. The pilot clearly was trying to avoid any residential or commercial buildings and put it right into the Des Plaines river. Maybe hoping for a “skid in”.

It doesn’t sound like any survivors. I’m listening to a scanner and they just paged out for divers.

And sorry to hear a report that they’ve removed two bodies from the wreckage.

Prayers up for the families. :*(
Sounds like it could have been much, much worse had it landed in a residential area!
