The one thing that has become clear to me watching these shows is the disconnect between the political class and the normal people.

I was in the hospital from Monday through New Years day due to lung complications after breaking my rib. I’m still in bad shape, but getting better.
I was up at 4:30 am, thought of posting the thread then, determined that was too early, so went back to bed.
My wife wakes me with the following: “It’s almost 8:30! Did you post your thread yet?”
So I came straight to the computer while she fixed me a coffee. And here you all were!
