Israel represents the masculine side of Jewry, which liberal Jews lack.

What a bunch of schlemiels.

That was supposed to be derogatory in the 17th century. Like “Teabagger” is now.

"Teabagger" is a derogatory term for one who engages in a certain sexual act.

Is that what you are?

Naomi Wolf is a “typical American Jew”?

If so, it’s no wonder “Jews hate Palin”.

Uh Oh..messed up ...wrong place..well actually ok...I never have a problem supporting Israel on any thread.

Several of my Jewish friends not only vote Demo..but are also very much union people...they follow the union vote and have ddifficulty discussing politics as they are not very well informed..by choice. Prefer to not discuss politics even when obvious where our nation is headed.

So FR has been just grand when I see Jewish people aware and involved here. I thank them for this.

Are you really that ignorant?

Of course, I had to learn what it meant from some enlightened vulgarian.

Are you really that ignorant?

Are you really that ignorant?

Really, are you that ignorant?

Is a rock lobster capable of learning?

Most Jews with conservative views are neo-conservative, which is primarily an economic-conservative/strong national defense position.

Pro-life Jews are extremely small in number (even though Orthodox Judaism is pro-life), and I think there is very little comprehension of devout evangelical pro-life views among any segment of Jewish people.

You nailed it: “I think too many fear an ardent Christian, even an ardent pro-Israel Christian, more than they do an Islamofascist.”

They are afraid that Palin will turn the U.S. into a reglious state and they are paranoid of religion, Chritianity in particular.

Then why is this your tagline?...(A "teabagger", that's me. >< BCC >)

Why would you whack out at me when you call yourself a "teabagger"?

Jews that are in favor of a free society and a just/limited government will like Sarah, and those that are altruists, collectivists, statists, and socialists will not

Easy. Location. Location. Location. After that, abortion, snobbery, and elitism, common among ignorant and arrogant white liberals of all religions and ethnics.

Where do the majority of Jewish Americans live? Big cities, close in suburbs of big cities, and University areas. New York City. Philly. North Chicago. Boston. South Florida. LA. Arlington. Ann Arbor.

In those areas, most people there period are liberal democrats and cultural liberals, whether they be by blood Jewish, Protestant, Catholic, or atheist. The leftist pols there have last names of all ethnic stripes.

Would you have preferred she tolerate her daughter’s having an abortion so the judgmental among us wouldn’t have anything to judge?

The USA is covered from coast to coast with families, strong conservative Christian families, who have been through this exact situation and have handled it in pretty much the same way, without the glare of publicity the Palins have had to endure. It’s bad enough from the left but when it comes from the right it is despicable.

If Obama didn’t have the diplomas that he has, he would not have been picked to lead the charge. Heck, he’d probably not believe half the stuff that he’s selling.
+++++++++++++++++

Of course, we’ve got to take his word for it on his diplomas and any ‘grades’ he may have claimed to have made...as well as a few other things. What a true fraud in chief perpetuated by the socialist RATS in the democRAT party:

The List:
1 Certified copy of original birth certificate
2 Columbia University transcripts
3 Columbia thesis paper
4 Campaign donor analysis requested by 7 major watchdog groups
5 Harvard University transcripts
6 Illinois State Senate records
7 Illinois State Senate schedule
8 Law practice client list and billing records/summary
9 Locations and names of all half-siblings and step-mothers
10 Medical records (only the one page summary released so far)
11 Occidental College Transcripts
12 Parent’s marriage Certificate
13 Record of baptism
14 Selective Service registration records
15 Schedules for trips outside of the United States before 2007
16 Passport records for all passports
17 Scholarly articles
18 Access to his grandmother in Kenya
19 List of all campaign workers that are lobbyists
20 Punahou grade school records

Glad to see that you are holding them accountable for their actions.

Same applies to my own family members who voted for the loser.

PS... Remind them also that Obama constantly refers to the Israeli settlements as "the occupation" on more than one occasion. One of the most recent was at the UN last spring. It is the terrorists who use the phrase "the occupation" to describe Israelis, not an American President.

This is why I maintain the belief that Obama has more in common with Black September than the American people.

I don’t get it. I absolutely do no get it. Nor, for that matter, do any of my Jewish friends who, for the most part, are to the right of my Christian self.

I would say, however, that observant Jews do tend to be more conservative- and/or Republican-leaning. Many on the other side of the political spectrum just use the tag as an ethnic identity for social/business reasons

See another recent, related Commentary story:

“It seems that Reagan’s increasingly vocal embrace of the New — specifically, the Christian — Right scared Jews more than anything said by either Jackson or Farrakhan. ... In fact, Silberman noted, “more Jewish voters indicated an unfavorable opinion of Falwell than of Jesse Jackson.”

As a Jew I love Sarah Palin. I have meet her 5 times and have 2 blogs.

One things I have learned from the Nov 08 election is what I have heard from many orthodox Jews my entire life:

Reform or Liberal Jews are not Jews but simply non-jews or Jew hating Jews. They all voted for the Jew hating disaster Obama. All Conservative or Orthodox (Black Hats) Jews voted for McCain/Palin.

Liberal Jews especially hate any conservative who is pro-Israel, because Israel represents the masculine side of Jewry, which liberal Jews lack. Israel is a living reproach to their surrender of religion, culture and morality.
++++++++++++++++

Interesting comments. The same can be said of ‘liberal Christians’ and especially liberal Christian denominational bodies, dominated by political, and social gospel thinking and not strong, passionate disciples of Jesus Christ, imho.
