It just sounds like you're making excuses when you say that. Which is probably why Palin is smart enough to avoid doing so. Plus she's a big sports fan. You never hear the great hitters say something like "I kept grounding out because he wouldn't come inside." Couric was an enemy, and Palin knew that going in. She had more than enough time to prepare.
