OK. An interesting question.
But let’s allow El Rushbo to get better first. ay?
Mark Steyn
Mark Levin
Chris Plante
There are a multitude of good guys and gals on our team but Rush is quite unique and irreplaceable. He is the master.
Ditto, He had me in stitches the other day filling in for Rush. But fear not, once up on all cylinders, Rushie will be back.
His blood pressure like all of us has been high with all the 0bama crap going on.
I’m thinking this is just a bit morbid and premature yet... But maybe that’s just me.
Mark Steyn is my favorite guest host, but he would have to become “documented.”
:^)
Love the sarc on th3 14 avid listeners per week remark.
Obviously one was thinking of the 14 stranded passengers at Atlanta airport who are forced to watch CNN drivel.
Well, well, well...look who’s back! I thought you got banned.
I like him too. It would probably take both Glen and Mark to fill the Maha Rushie’s boots.
in short, I can’t think of anyone that really would ‘replace’ Rush. Someone can certainly take his spot from 12-3 weekdays and keep a large following, but it is not the position on the dial that makes Rush what he is. Beck is the closest thing I see out there, but he is very different. The others mentioned, Levin, Hannity, etc, would not build a 20 million listener following. Steyn is brilliant, absolutely, but I don’t see listening to him for 15 hours a week.
Rush is a thought leader and a unique media critique. I cannot think of anyone that could fill his shoes. Much like Jordan or Gretzke leaving their sports, it will take a great amount of time to fill the void, if at all.
Mark Steyn.
Hands down.
Are we voting?
MARK STEYN
Steyn would be great, but this is sort of like walking on a grave before the person is even in the grave to discuss something like this.
I said a prayer for Rush when I first heard the news at 1:30AM this morning. All indications are (and it is my guy feeling) that he's going to be fine. That being said, he's been dropping hints for a few years now that he's looking towards retiring, or it least scaling it back considerably.
No,,I don’t dislike him but he talks too much and interrupts callers and cuts them off..nope only Mark S of the Marks cuts it for me.
!Hannity!
Rush is unique. He is irreplaceable.
Sorry, I like Levin at times, but there is no comparison between him and Steyn.
I agree but I am talking about fill in while OUR Dear Leader, El Rushbo, recovers and is back in the saddle...
