If Israel had planned an aerial attack for anytime this month, it would have been last night or tonight...dark of the moon.

Not as important as it once was. Besides, even for a few more days, the moon sets before sunrise, like about an hour after sunset, give or take. Plenty of time for a nice dark Oh Dark Thirty operation.
