Teen charged with Terrorist threats in Apple Store incident
Snip: 17 year old Jason Barry was charged with making a terrorist threat on Wednesday after leaving a potentially threatening message on a Mac at the Staten Island Mall Apple Store, according to the New York Post.
In the message Mr. Barry typed onto the screen, he threatened to set off a bomb in the store and cause "bloody death." Along with the message, Mr. Barry included the name of one of his friend's father.
A store employee saw the message and called the police. When officials tracked down Mr. Barry, he claimed he was joking and forgot to delete the message before leaving the store.
Georgia preparing terrorist acts in Russia
Snip: Foreign instructors are preparing terrorist groups to launch attacks in Russia, an Interior Ministry official said on Thursday.
"Terrorist groups are being trained by foreign instructors at military bases in Georgia to carry out terrorist acts in Russia," Deputy Interior Minister Arkady Yedelev said.
State Department, FBI release digitally enhanced photos of most wanted terrorist suspects
Snip: The U.S. Department of State and FBI are starting the New Year with newly enhanced photos of terrorist suspects on their most wanted lists.
Using sophisticated digital enhancement techniques, forensic artists at the FBIs laboratory in Quantico, Virginia have age progressed old photos of 18 terrorist suspects listed on the State Departments Rewards for Justice (RFJ) website (www.rewardsforjustice.net). Fourteen of these suspects also are being sought by the FBI.
