2 or more....will be in and out all day. Dad is up and there are things that need to be done...even if sleepily done. Neighbor cleared drive yesterday, but still need to get more wood in.
I didn’t have a upper and lower GI. The fasting was for an accurate blood work. I also had two chest x rays, EKG, urine sample, weighed and height taken.
Also a long conversation. ;)

Biden: More Terrorist Attacks in U.S. Likely

Vice President Joe Biden said Americans can expect more attempted terrorist attacks like the one by the so-called underpants bomber, who tried to detonate explosives on a Detroit-bound jet on Christmas Day.
In an interview with CNN’s Larry King that aired Wednesday night, Biden said he thinks an attack on the scale of 9/11 is unlikely. But he anticipates attempts at smaller “but devastatingly frightening attacks.”
“I think what you’re seeing morphing here — and it’s a concern to us — is you’ll see the concern related to somebody like a shoe bomber or the underpants bomber, the Christmas attack, or someone just strapping a backpack on them with weapons that are indigenous and blowing up, you know, walking into an airport,” Biden said.
“I think there are going to be attempts.”
President Obama has castigated the U.S. intelligence agencies for failures that allowed 23-year-old Nigerian Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab to board the Northwest Airlines jet with explosives sewn in his underwear.
But Biden insisted that the Obama administration, which has ordered a review of security procedures following the Christmas incident, is prepared to deal with similar attempts, Politico reported.
Biden also told King that the stimulus bill has created “a minimum of 1.6 million” jobs, adding that “by the spring, I think people are going to begin to have more confidence in the policies we’ve put in place.”
Biden declared regarding the appeal of Sarah Palin: “I don’t know that it represents anything approaching a significant portion of the population.” But he said: “I like her. She’s an engaging person. She has a great personality.”

Obviously, this guy hasn’t been reading the “Threat Matrix” on FR...
It terrifies me to know that we have such inept people trying to run this wonderful country.......right into the ground.
Seriously, I try to do everything I can, on a personal level, to have an effect. I call, e-mail, fax, write letters, network, etc. Sometimes, it seems to no avail. My best hope is my vote.
I get so damned frustrated trying to make a difference. But, I’ll keep trying. I won’t quit.
But Mom,I did put myself in there shows, we will have that showdown here one day. I felt this way when MLK marched on DC. there are just times that affect you so profoundly. These kids, they are just kids, but reading their tweets, I never experienced that firsthand. Watching it on the news, YouTube etc. is a whole different thing, then reading their struggle LIVE, & it kinda puts you there. I pray somehow they find a way to overthrow that insane little man.
If it were ANYONE else but BHO, we'd be helping covertly, but he thinks by punishing the Revolutionary guards is something. He thinks trying these monsters in court is something. He's given him a year of nicey, nice talk & still NOTHING. We & the Greens are screwed!
