HONOLULU -- Conservative radio talk host Rush Limbaugh was rushed to a Honolulu hospital on Wednesday afternoon with chest pains, sources told KITV.
Paramedics responded to the call at 2:41 p.m. at the Kahala Hotel and Resort.
Limbaugh suffered from chest pains, sources said. Paramedics treated him and took him to Queen's Medical Center in serious condition.
He was seen golfing at Waialae Country Club earlier this week. The country club is next to the Kahala Hotel and Resort.
The radio show host had been in the islands during the holidays. Coincidentally, his visit comes at a time when two of the nation's most powerful Democrats, President Barack Obama and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, are also staying in Hawaii.

Actually when the cardiologist goes in through the groin to check the arteries for blockages it is an ANGIOGRAM. My husband has had several of these procedures.

I was just watching an ABC (I think) report this week that quoted a statistic that amazed me - In the last 10 years, the mortality rate from coronary disease has decreased by 40%. That is really amazing.
We need to get as many sources as we can,compile them and then make our own decisions based only on first hand facts. We could let our minds run wild here but that would be a mistake.

Very well could be. Angina manifests in odd ways, and back pain is one of them. Severe ‘indigestion’ is another. Pain in the left arm is yet another. ... See how diverse?
Not sure sweetie- but it was about a hundred posts ago- there was a link to a local station in Hawaii saying the hospital reporting his condition is stable.

Depends on the kind of back pain, but some types are angina also, jaw or shoulder pain can be angina, angina is a warning sign, take NTG 1 every 5 minutes for a total of 3 nitros...if no relief, go to hospital...I have unstable angina and so far have only had to do 2 for the pain to go away........
