HONOLULU -- Conservative radio talk host Rush Limbaugh was rushed to a Honolulu hospital on Wednesday afternoon with chest pains, sources told KITV.
Paramedics responded to the call at 2:41 p.m. at the Kahala Hotel and Resort.
Limbaugh suffered from chest pains, sources said. Paramedics treated him and took him to Queen's Medical Center in serious condition.
He was seen golfing at Waialae Country Club earlier this week. The country club is next to the Kahala Hotel and Resort.
The radio show host had been in the islands during the holidays. Coincidentally, his visit comes at a time when two of the nation's most powerful Democrats, President Barack Obama and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, are also staying in Hawaii.
If not, and if it is indeed a heart problem, its probably due to his past problems with his weight. He's lost a lot of weight and has been looking good and his diet has been nothing but healthy so I have all the faith that he is going to pull thru this with flying colors..........Go Rush!

I’ve been watching for the last 20-minutes; no mention of Rush yet...
No!
Amen.
We need Rush more at this point than any in his 30 year career, we’re all praying for a quick recovery Mr. Limbaugh.
Poison? Very suspicious in my eyes...
Good on you, potlatch.
Keep watch for us.
Prayers to Rush. Chest pain ain’t no fun -— AT. ALL.
Very good point. He mentioned the disc problem is in the neck/upper back area so it's quite possible.
Like sciatica, where a pinched nerve in the lumbar spine can really screw up your leg and masquerade as bursitis, tendonitis, etc. Very painful and obnoxious.
Prayers up for Rush. I'm going to avoid the MSM like the plague it is on this.
I will never understand that kind of hate. At least with Kennedy, he murdered someone so I understood why many celebrated his death, but Rush has never hurt anyone. He speaks his mind, everyone has a right to speak their mind. But those kind of hateful bastards that wish him harm are absolutely sick and karma will bite them in the ass sooner or later
Yup, rapid response is very important. if he has a mjor vessel occluded the sooner they open it the less damage to the heart muscle. I know Cath Labs inside and out, I install them for a living and I've been on the table a few times myself.
Praying they can fix him in the Cath Lab, bypass is much more invasive and takes time to heal.
I am in tears.
Prayers up.
but...if he is conscious upon arrival his prognosis is good but potentially very painful (from one who knows..twice), heart surgery is not for sissies
stents and stuff I don't much about
hopefully it's something gastric

I have hearing loss as well. Totally deaf in one ear, partially in the other.
I fact, Rush’s doctor who did his surgery is my very own ear doctor, Dr. John House at the famous House Ear Clinic in L.A.
Father, direct and guide Rush's care, his doctors, and all other medical personnel. Grant that the appropriate treatment be given him, ensure that proper diagnoses are made.
Father, You have given Rush to us as a source of comfort, news, and inspiration. We need Your servant, Oh Mighty God. Please foil any attacks on him or efforts to silence this great voice for Your truths.
In Jesus' precious name...Amen!
Save it and Document it! I’m sick of the libs getting away with painting us as the bad guys.
If I’m not mistaken, Rush is from a long-lived family. Didn’t his grandfather Rush live to be 103? Lord, please bless Rush as you did his father and grandfather.
Amen.
