Corruption in Louisiana! Who knew?
Funny how all these liberal run cities have the most corruption, most crimes, highest unemployment rate are the most illiterate and are broke...
I will bet there’s a lot more where that came from throughout our court system in the US.
Yes there is but the problem is our laws are equally corrupt and unjust so at least with this model you have a chance of getting out of trouble relatively cheaply (compared to paying a lawyer for a trail). I think that given the current set of unjust laws this is a preferable way to go.
Get arrested on some bogus DV change by your soon to be ex-wife? just pay $5K to make it go away! We are rapidly catching up to Mexico on this so make sure you carry some extra cash for the cops when they stop you from now on.

I missed it;where does the article give the political affiliation of the perps?Oh,never mind.
I would use the Mary Landrieu defense. She took a bribe in public what is the big deal.
Unfortunately most cities have the majority of people in their cities. Take out the top two cities in any state and you end up with about 20 percent of the population left. It is a problem but until people move out of the cities in droves, it will not change and cities will always have more murder, drugs, corruption, etc.
Bobby Jindal’s fault
