"Johnston fought to allow the custody matter to unfold in public, saying in a sworn statement that doing so would help put everyone on best behavior. He noted that Van Flein also represents Sarah Palin.
"I know that public scrutiny will simplify this matter and act as a check against anyone's need to be overly vindictive, aggressive or malicious, not that Bristol would ever be that way, nor that I would. But her mother is powerful, politically ambitious and has a reputation for being extremely vindictive," Johnston said in his affidavit. "So, I think a public case might go a long way in reducing Sarah Palin's instinct to attack."
Johnston said he didn't want to hurt or embarrass his son -- or Bristol. He thinks Sarah Palin, not Bristol, is acting with "sheer malice," Butler wrote in a court filing.
"He feels Sarah Palin, through her lawyer, under the guise of Bristol Palin's name, would run roughshod over his very bones," Butler wrote."

Allow me to add, I’d have to see the quote before I’d take it as fact, it doesn’t sound right.
Hopefully so, because it diminishes her stature to be dragged into it.
I don’t have a hard copy of the book. Grateful if you could please provide the exact quote and page reference. Thanks
Thats a good question.
I also wondered about Levi Johnstons ability to support the baby. Does he have another job besides camera chaser?
I don’t like to see how much money a person makes as being
a decision on custody. But, I do want to see that his
mental capacity is looked at closely. Personally, I don’t
see him as competent enough to handle this particular child.
If Sarah does become a big political figure again, this child’s safety will be the most important thing.
Every time the douche bag speaks, you can’t help but hate him more. Levi does more damage to himself than he does to Sarah.
time to follow the little twerp’s money trail and find out which HuffPo/KosKids/Soros types are paying for his lawyers
>> All the more reason that the judge should have kept the proceedings secret. The language the young man used in the affidavit was a huge red flag. One must wonder why an experienced judge would allow a 19 year old brat to determine such an important aspect of this custody case. <<
I would surmise the case is being public because the Judge is a Rat.
>> Placing a child for adoption is NOT rejection.

I have an aunt that my grandma placed up for adoption, my grandmother was having a hard time, best thing that ever happened to my aunt, she grew up in a caring and happy family.
In a lot of Cases Placing a Child up for adoption is a godsend for those who cannot have children and a blessing on the child if the mother does not have the means to properly take care of the child.
It is also thinking of a Child’s best interest and not your own.
And, here are some experts from his My Space page a year or so ago:

Im a f - -in redneck who likes to snowboard and ride dirt bikes.
Ya f - with me Ill kick [your] ass, he added.
He also claims to be in a relationship, but states, I dont want kids.
If he does get shared custody I wonder if he will just leave the child with his dope-dealing mother or will there be a stipulation that he can’t do that. My bet is HE won’t be the one taking care of the child should he get share custody.
It wouldn’t surprise me, if Levi’s attorney attempts to make the custody trial all about Sarah. Heck, they may even try to call Sarah to testify and ask a bunch of questions unrelated to the trial.
Very Likely! Whatever support Levi gets is coming from enemies of Sarah Palin and his sole value is as an embarrassment to the Palin family.
Oh, goody. I’m looking forward to Levi explaining for the public record how he has the kind of financial support and the kind of home environment to where he deserves joint custody with Bristol. Really, I am.

Bottom of the page.
“If your teenage daughter got pregnant...”
I’d counsel a young parent to choose life...consider adoption” I answered.
To all of you who think that keeping a baby is the best option always, listen to Sarah.
Who is paying this losers legal fees? Levi’s 15 minutes were up a long time ago, even MSNBC admitted this, this morning.
