Napolitano, you magnificent bastard! I read your book - well you put it on the Internet so why not? Napoleon said never ascribe to malice that which can be readily explained by incompetence. I think in her case and in most of this administration it’s both.

Never let a good crisis go to waste.

So what are they planning now?

Yikes IT is such a liar, IT must have taken ITS testosterone supplement prior to ITS interview with Matt Lauer.Yes, IT, there is no way that thing is female.
IT probably sits somewhere with a pit in the basement and says, “It puts the lotion on its skin and places it in the basket, or it gets the hose again.” to men trapped below while it assembles a man suit.

The system did work

...that is, if “the system” is dependent on passengers taking timely action after prevention has failed.

And don't forget -

This insane turdlette is in charge of an organization that just awarded a 5 year contract to Winchester to supply them with 200 million rounds of .40 caliber jacketed hollow-point pistol ammunition.

That's not a target shooting round - that's a round intended to be used to shoot people.

This contract equates to 3.33 million rounds per month for 5 years.
Who are they planning on using this ammo against? Illegals? Yeah, right!!

More likely people whom Homeland Security called "rightwing extremists," in a report released back in April:

"Rightwing extremism in the United States can be broadly divided into those groups, movements, and adherents that are primarily hate-oriented (based on hatred of particular religious, racial or ethnic groups), and those that are mainly antigovernment, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority, or rejecting government authority entirely. It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration."

"Many rightwing extremists are antagonistic toward the new presidential administration and its perceived stance on a range of issues, including immigration and citizenship, the expansion of social programs to minorities, and restrictions on firearms ownership and use. Rightwing extremists are increasingly galvanized by these concerns and leverage them as drivers for recruitment. From the 2008 election timeframe to the present, rightwing extremists have capitalized on related racial and political prejudices in expanded propaganda campaigns, thereby reaching out to a wider audience of potential sympathizers."
