sounds like ole butchy Napolitano may have been wrong in that the other incident was isolated and unconnected.

Apparently they are already saying it, at least with respect to the second incident. No surprise though, they cheerleaded an avowed enemy of this country into the presidency and continue to protect him.
The MSM hates this country and cannot wait for it to be destroyed.

it took a while to get sources for that. thanks for posting this!
it was *really* weird trying to find more info online at first, like a twilight zone... I almost felt as though cnn was on a replay loop from the Christmas day scene while waiting for confirmation... FR serving as part of that confirmation (grin).

"By allowing fools and parasites to vote my FRiend." Good point. I'm not sure we can do much about the fools, but the parasites are another story.

I can tell you for certain....that thousands of wild horses live within 20 miles of me...And none of them are in "corrals".
In fact most of them are located on huge pastures......at significant cost to the U.S. tax payer. Easy money if you have the right connections.

If Detroit doesn’t develop an economy soon it may no longer be a hub.

that’s what they’re sure enough reiterating now on CNN, “could we just be overreacting?”
... and this will lead to more “innocent” challenges from misbehavin’ mideasterners as were on recent flights 297 and flight 227 — which were quickly swept under the rug.
to give CNN credit, they are still w/guests and reporters considering other possibilities; guy onscene in detroit now pointing out “could the one passenger have been meant to be a distraction?”
... he’s pointing out rightly that we HAVE to remain alert, even after the initial incident... the terrorists only have to get it right once, security has to get it right ALL THE TIME.

The crotch bomber applied for a visa to return to England for a course that proved to be bogus and he was denied entry into England.
I suspect there is NO islamic conference in Detroit but our TSA had no clue, nor did they care. He’s muslim, he’s IN.

You know,if everyone on the flight is scared out of their wits due to the behaviour of a passenger or passengers then i think terror is the correct word.

my understanding is that they’re seeing this through to the end, reasoning in post 342 ... sniffer dogs have gone through, considering also this may be a distraction still...

I do think this was a set up and He will sue.
Could be a set-up, but he was arrested. From
Another Delta Flight Scare in Detroit
.....................
About 10 emergency vehicles, sirens blaring, surrounded Northwest flight 253 as soon as it landed Sunday. .........
............... "The aircraft has been moved to a remote location for additional screening. TSA and law enforcement met the aircraft upon arrival, the passenger is now in custody."
Sue Elliott, a Delta spokesperson, told CBS News the passenger in question "verbally disruptive."
"Out of abundance of caution the flight crew asked that the plane be met on arrival by law enforcement," said Elliott.
There were reports that the man detained was also Nigerian...................
.....................A law enforcement official tells CBS News correspondent Bob Orr passengers and crew became suspicious after the man locked himself in an airplane bathroom. A search of the plane was being carried out. There was no immediate word of any device being found.
The source told Orr early indications are that the man became ill and spent long enough in the lavatory to cause concern. ..................
He'll have lots of explaining to do. He might not feel like filing any suit if he's harrassed enough by federal officials.

"Why is Detroit being targeted?" It's probably not that Detroit is being targeted, but Detroit does have a very large Muslim population. Perhaps the terrorists figure taking flights to a city with a large Muslim community would raise fewer red flags.

Curious as to what security will be like.....

You know, if everyone on the flight is scared out of their wits due to the behaviour of a passenger or passengers then i think terror is the correct word.right, ITA! that's why flights 297 and flights 227 -- AND the stinkin' flying imams, for that matter, were all terror events, and successful.
One even got the perps paid! And **all** such incidents, whether deliberately or incidently also lead to info about how passengers and crew and media and airline security and pres respond to various incidents. So they are rightly called probes (Annie Jacobsen discusses in "Terror in the Skies" p 25), prob better than calling "dry runs".

From SkyNews,
......"The 30-year-old is reported to have boarded in Lagos with no luggage.
Airline crew said on the Amsterdam to Detroit leg of Northwest Airlines flight 253 he became verbally disruptive.
Two people told Fox news the man then locked himself in the toilet for over an hour.
On touchdown the man was arrested by FBI agents who were waiting on the runway."..............

Man arrested in new disturbance on Detroit flight
A Nigerian passenger onboard the same Northwest Airlines route that was attacked on Christmas Day was taken into custody in Detroit on Sunday after locking himself in the bathroom for an hour and becoming verbally disruptive upon landing, officials said.
