In this day and age, I’m afraid not. I’d be interested to know the race of the attackers, though.
I lived in that area. The attackers were black and the reason for the attack was the girl who was accidentally hit by a basketball told her “tough” friends she was “dissed” by the a white boy. That’s all it takes to rile up the animals.
Sadly, I think this is one of those cases where if you feel the need to ask the question, you already know the answer.
