In what way ? The district is Republican at the Presidential level, it was merely about the last one to fall at the Congressional level in AL. If he is defeated in the GOP primary, we’ll still likely hold it. He won only narrowly last year against a GOP retread candidate from the ‘90s.

Yeah but you know full well it’s Democratic at every other level. Obama was the only Democrat to lose it in ‘08.

Words cannot overstate how important this is. This switch probably signals we take the legislature next year, even the Senate which people still say is impossible.

Sounds like 2010 is going to be a good year for the AL GOP.

With Obama’s approval dropping like a rock in AL, Arthur Davis is going to be a tough sell for Governor. Perhaps, it will be safe for AL GOP primary voters to nominate Roy Moore to send a message to Beltway GOP Insiders.
