To clarify...this is not my plan. This is Dan Perrin’s plan over at Red State.

Thanks, PowerPro. I'm a bit bleary-eyed, sorry. I did include the Red State link in my post to my ping list...

Some of us are saying THE TACTICS TO DATE DID NOT WORK.

Locate the beginning of the tea party movement:

The tactics worked. They need to continue. More and new tactics are needed also, but do no short sell the incredible change won in record time. The steps taken thus far were necessary AND successful.

The Tea Parties are WAY more important then you seem to understand. Yes it began with “Can you hear us now” and they proved they hear us, they simply don’t give a shit.

The Tea Parties are our way of organizing, getting out information, getting people involved. People from Tea Parties came together and went into polling places in NJ and Va to prevent ACORN and SEIU from committing voter fraud.

Even though we ended up with one more RINO Governor, we proved we have power when we organize. Now we use their power to move into action. You kill the Tea Parties, you kill ANY chance we stay focused and vigilant.

Maybe I will be happier retired, which is what I will be if this thing goes through.

They will make it a point to take us out as early as possible with a Morphine OD in Palliative care.

Within a few years they will not even try to hide the Euthanasia.

I also am extremely interested in those ramifications, especially re: Nebraska’s and other states “most favored” status at the expense of other states.

AMT....who said/thought Tea parties would scare them?

No one I knew....but Tea parties did bring together people to brainstorm, connect, raise money, give courage and guidance to those who may want to run for local office, and could someday birth a leader.

Normally I would leave that alone, but America celebrates the biggest time of the year with family ATT. Congress is needing a big change. The Little River Band plays a good song about it.

Harkin called the GOP the party of “no, no, no”
He’s correct.
No socialism, no government takeover, no death panels.

None of these Progressives quote Zeke Emanuelle’s rules of worthiness to receive medical care.
His sob story people would be low on the list and suffer more than they do now.
I hate listening to liars.

Another way to combat this is to convince other people of the rightness of our views. How do we convince friends and relatives who think we are moonbats that we are in the right? Can’t we do this before the worst occurs?

Will the Health Care conference report be subject to filibuster when it returns to the Senate and will 60 votes be required to invoke closure?

This is an important question.

I have asked this question repeatedly this evening and have had several knowledgeable replies.

No one, however, has provided a complete answer.

Can anyone answer this question?

Nope. Didn’t burn it, but here’s the rundown:

58 Democrats & 2 Independents voted Yes
40 Republicans voted No

That’s all 100 Senators, so it’s pretty easy to figure out who voted which way.

Cheers

One thing to do is to have some random facts at your disposal. I mean don’t overwhelm them with details...but just one or two things that stand out and make regular people start to question things. Such as the fact that this bill does in fact include tax hikes on those making less than 250K.

There are seven of them that meet that description.

http://www.atr.org/senate-health-bill-contains-seven-tax-a4346

I’d make it subtle by not naming names per se but little things like...hey I thought there wouldn’t be any taxes on people making less than 250K!

And yet... there are seven of them in this bill alone.

Keep it non-combative...they’ll read combat in there anyway...but keep it almost trivial. Don’t go in with a plan of assault because that’s what they’re expecting. Just make it a random part of some conversation.

Let them think for themselves and determine what it means...because I’m sure they remember Obama’s “not one dime” promise.

It is just wishful thinking. Once an entitlement is passed the courts will order them to fund it, and they will. Mark my words.

That’s a ridiculous assessment.

The type of underclass you speak of as a result would not spring up in a period of one year. Less then a year. In short term this is a strong negative for them in the upcoming election. Long term is a different argument if allowed to stand.

Amnesty is another matter. Althugh even then it would be difficult to manage the organizational hurdles in less then 10 months to have a substantial impact in 2010.

No, either of these pieces of legislation do not rebound to their favor in the ‘10 elections. ‘12 perhaps.
