Like the Bangladeshis, the Persians, and the Javanese, they CONVERTED. That does not make ANY of these people ETHNICALLY and CULTURALLY Arab. Mohammed Ali converted to Islam, but that did not make him an Arab, anymore than my converting to Buddhism (highly unlikely) would make me Tibetan.

Arabs are an ethnic group. Islam is a religion. The two are not one and the same. Capice?

And about 99% of Arabs are Muslims. And given the Arab genesis of Islam, my term 'Arab religion'. I perhaps wrongly believed that anybody with a normal intelligence would not assume that I was calling all Muslims Arabs.

My point is that nobody has shown that the Luo have had nothing to do with the Arab slave trade. Unless you can provide specific cites to back up something to the contrary, you appear to me not to contest this.
