In #264, you appear as a youngish male, short brown hair, pinkish skin, wearing a white t-shirt, holding a camera.
Look at the reflection in the dome.....

Up to 30" of snow with 50 mph winds expected tonight on Long Island.
From NWS Special Weather Statement: INTENSE LOW PRESSURE TRACKING SOUTHEAST OF LONG ISLAND OVERNIGHT WILL RESULT IN A PERIOD OF HEAVY SNOW AND HIGH WINDS ACROSS LONG ISLAND. SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS OF 18 TO 24 INCHES...WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS AS HIGH AS 30 INCHES...ARE EXPECTED. SNOWFALL RATES OF 3 TO 5 INCHES PER HOUR...ACCOMPANIED BY THUNDER AND LIGHTNING...ARE POSSIBLE DURING THE HEIGHT OF THE STORM FROM LATE THIS EVENING INTO THE OVERNIGHT. WIND GUSTS OF UP TO 50 MPH ARE ALSO EXPECTED...WHICH ALONG WITH THE HEAVY SNOW WILL REDUCE VISIBILITIES TO UNDER A QUARTER MILE AT TIMES...AND CAUSE SIGNIFICANT BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF SNOW.

How much did you wind up with? Looks like 19-20" here in Falls Church.

Could you sent some my way? I bet a friend we'd get 8 to 10 inches this winter. Not looking good, but since I'm in S.E. Texas and it rarely even snows here I think I'm screwed. lol.
You'll have some great drifts in the morning if the wind is blowing too. I kinda miss snow in the winter, kinda.

Was there some meeting of Global Warming nuts this weekend? Storms seem to follow the hucksters...

To: VanShuyten
We got about 22” in Falls Church. An epic winter - the last time DC had two snowfalls over a foot in the same winter was 1899.
