I LOOOOVVVVE Whataburgers.
Carl’s Jr. has just opened a place near me. Right next door to a Whataburger.
We laugh. But when you think about it - there will be no real competition. Whataburgers are the real deal. And Carl’s Jr. serves an overpriced and subpar piece of meat between soggy buns.
Their commercials are great too..... the almost imperceptible nod of appreciation from one guy to another for his order... lol makes me laugh every time.
We don't have "In&Out" or "Whataburgers" in KC, but we do have Hardees, which is owned by Carl's Jr. And I really like them. Their burgers are pretty darned good. Plus, I love the fact that they'll use meat as a condiment! They had a "Philly Steak & Cheese Burger" that had a 1/3 pound burger, plus roast beef & cheese, with a side of au jus! It was actually pretty good!
And I love their commercials, especially the ones with Padma!
