I see some folks don’t see the big picture.

JD Hayworth is not running. There are some issues I may disagree with McCain but the imbecile, Simcox who is running against him is beyong the fringe.

He is anti war, has many unrealistic views that border on StormFront. I heard him interviewed the other week and
Simcox does not have the adult structure to be a councilman
let alone a Senator.

Disagree with some of McCain’s views but he is doing some of the heavy lifting against ObamaCare.
One of the main reasons many on FR who don’t like McCain
is he understands who the enemy is and knows we must win the war against the IslamOfascists.
His youngest son is in the Marines and based here in San Diego at Camp Pendleton and has served a tour in Iraq.

Hayworth is *considering* running SoCalPol.

If he runs anyone that supports McLame in the primary is wrong, period. I hope Palin would not do that. If she wants to stay neutral out of ‘respect’ for McPain I’m fine with that. If Hayworth enters and she campaigns for McCain she will be making a mistake, not as bad as Santorum and Bush pulling Specter over the finish line but still a big mistake that will turn off conservative voters.

This has not yet happened so castigation of Palin is premature.

If Hayworth doesn’t run anyone that supports McCain over his announced challenger Chris Simcox is also wrong though it would be understandable since Simcox will not come close to winning unfortunately because too many people share your view of him.

Speaking of which why is Simcox “beyond the frige”? McCain is beyond the fringe of a reliable conservative. I’m not that will say he’s as bad as DIBALOs like Lympy Snowe, he’s well to her right, but he ain’t my kind of Republican. He’s always been the first one to line up to play footsy with the rats and the liberal media.

Re: Immigration, I don’t think many people are for “rounding them up” I don’t see how that could be done. The thing to do is punish employers who hire them, Arrest and deport them when are they caught driving without a license (don’t give them any ID, don’t give them a bus card, a library card, nothing).

I’m a free market guy so part of me doesn’t like the idea of going after employers but it is a necessary step if you want to solve the problem, along with sealing the border using whatever means.

If so, why did he support the KLA, work to close Gitmo, and try to grant POW status to terrorists?

McCain IS the enemy.
