I think it should be a requirement that all congresscritters and senators take a speedreading course — either that or refrain from producing 2,000 plus page bills.
I went to the National Archives and I think I saw an original copy of one the first law, I believe hand written, ever passed by Congress, I think it dealt with immigration or who is a natural born citizen, and it was one page long. Perhaps they should require a handwritten version of the bill.
