I went to the National Archives and I think I saw an original copy of one the first law, I believe hand written, ever passed by Congress, I think it dealt with immigration or who is a natural born citizen, and it was one page long. Perhaps they should require a handwritten version of the bill.

I propose a law that states no bill can be passed by Congress that is longer in words than the original US Constitution.

If we can found a country on that few words we should be able to write a law in fewer.
