Lord Monckton supports the idea that there has been Global Warming and that this is indisputable. And also it's Lord Monckton that many FReepers use in their support for refutation of "Anthropogenic Global Warming", which is a completely different matter from "Global Warming"...
So, as a result of your commments, you are also putting Lord Monckton, whom many FReepers use for support against Anthropogenic Global Warming -- in that category of Rodney King science... :-)

But, there's the problem, it's only "contrived" in your own mind. It's not "contrived" in Lord Monckton's mind. It's not contrived in the minds of other FReepers who post here. It's not contrived in the mind of that FReeper meteorologist who supports the idea of Global Warming having happened, but not Anthropogenic Global Warming. It's not contrived in the minds of all those other meteorologists that he knows (that he stated here) who also believe that Global Warming has happened, but they don't support Anthropogenic Global Warming.
It would appear that for the "people who count" and are qualified to speak on the matter -- they don't have the same thing "in mind" as you do... LOL...

The sun is cooling, so the Earth is and will continue to be cooling, even as the remnants of the ice age continue to melt, as they must, when viewed on a global scale.
Will a second ice age ever come along? Not likely; that would require an increase in cloud cover, whereas what we have is slowly decreasing cover. Drought may eventually be an issue, unless we increase atmospheric CO2.
