LOL! I can't stand that woman, because she is a mediocre economist who is simply there to parrot whatever line Rahm hands her.
"Well, we didn't know how bad things were. Tee-hee. There will probably be more unemployment, chuckle. Yes, we do owe trillions, but we will make it all back with green jobs. Ha-ha."
To: Miss Marple
You got her, that's her, Porquita at her finest giggly hour wildly spinning the truth.

Quite true. I particularly like the science discussions by a bunch of people who have law degrees or BA's in the arts.
I will make an exception for Inhofe, however, who has spent years studying this stuff and knows what he's talking about. HE won't tell us the core of the earth is "several million degrees!"
To: Miss Marple
BA's in the arts Personally, I see a lot of "BS" degrees... :)

LOL! I think you hit the nail on the head.
Honestly, the people who are the most vocal about this climate change stuff are the exact same ones who make GIANT PUPPETS. THAT should tell us all we need to know!

McCaskill says we are doing healthcare ‘to bring down costs’.

Actually I can see the nexus between heathcare and the stimulus.
Those "shovel ready jobs" are going to be at the GRAVE YARD.

Clare Macaskill on the Health Care Reform bill- “We are up to our elbows in sausage-making right now.”
The one thing she said that is absolutely true!

Lived in South Florida for over 40 years. Moved to New Mexico in 2006. The only thing I really miss (besides the friends) is the food.

You know, EVERY president inherits whatever problems are on the nation's plate. It's not like any president gets to start from scratch.
This constant blaming of the Bush administration is not only tiresome, it reflects a view that is decidedly juvenile and totally unrealistic.

We are up to our elbows in sausage-making right now. I forget. Is Clair not a fairly "big boned" individual?

Clare MacCaskill says she will vote against the health care bill if it “slow down the health care cost increases” - not reduce the costs, slow down the increases.
