Logic would provide the answers to your questions. The discussion is open exactly so that it can be viewed by anyone seeking the truth.
I see that you are following Robert Heinlein's maxim that the slickest way to lie is to tell just enough of the truth, and then to remain silent. His advice is very effective.
However, what you did not relate is an important aspect. The referenced "hunting down" was a hypothetical, and the immediate response to that possibility was a resounding negative from all quarters. Many of those who post there did not "flee" as was suggested in an earlier post but instead were "cast out" from this forum.
The site that you would vilify is a staunch supporter of the right of people to speak freely in open discussion, and thereby to reveal the weaknesses of their arguments as well as what passes for their faith.
Anyone who wishes may examine what is being said there, and decide about it on its merits. I would not recommend relying on the erstwhile reporters who may claim to have waded through the swamp of our filth to bring out their reports. That is an exaggeration, as most of what gets posted there is rather dry.
Further, there is no objection of which I'm aware to the carrying out of information or opinion, (as long as copyright restrictions are observed, of course), but it is the fervent wish of all that the information be as accurate as possible.
If you think that anything may be slightly exaggerated, as I have suggested it may be, then any and all may verify the truth for themselves. Don't be afraid. The tortoises cannot pursue anyone very effectively.
1)It's Jim Rob's forum. I am not a chr*stian and I realize that some of my beliefs are very much at variance with those of JR and my fellow FReepers, and sometimes I'm a bit ornery. JR has been kind enough to suffer me for the most part and I am grateful to him. I choose to remain here because my understanding of conservatism is an ancient, Theocratic, pre-enlightenment version (like some of the Catholics here) and because I believe defending G-d and His Torah is that important.
2)If there is no G-d, then there is no ultimate meaning and therefore, logically, no immediate meaning, and we might as well cease all our crusades and endeavors and repeal all our laws and relinquish all out goals and enjoy our short meaningless lives with maximum pleasure unencumbered by such things as ethics or morality (which, being defined by Divine Decree, do not exist in the absence of G-d).
3)The evolutionist characteristic of resorting to ethnic caricatures of poor rural Southern white Protestants while ignoring, or even claiming to be huge fans of, the superstitions and myths of other more "politically correct" peoples marks them as slimy, gutless cowards of the sort who kick the crutches out from under handicapped people because they don't have the brass to take on anyone else. It is primarily for this reason that I personally (again, this is not my forum) would rather that idiotic bigoted hypocritical atheists (the adjectives being an inherent part of the definition of the noun) would vacate this forum and live out their meaningless lives elsewhere.
Of course, that's just me!

Some did flee, and some wanted to get "cast out" as you call it. Intentionally breaking the rules of a private forum on private property deserves a different description...how about FR exercizing it's rights?

That's pretty interesting because just some time ago a FReeper who used to be a member of DC told how he left the site because or the behavior of the other DCers and his family's concerns for their safety. And he said it publicly on FR.
If one of your own feel that way, then I'd say that there is a legitimate concern.
