“Not yet they don’t. I’m talking about the science of it. You raise up science to discredit Genesis. That opens the door for anyone to use science to discredit the Resuurection.

CINO’s will grow, apologetics will expand, The Saviour will become, ‘just a teacher’, just and ‘example’ of how to live. Afterall, Christians shouldn’t offend with their beliefs, we should try, at all costs to be inclusive.

Right?”

Actually, you are right. There are very liberal Catholics who claim just what you said. But there are also a whole heck of a lot of liberal Protestants who also claim the exact same thing. The mistake they makes is the same thing that Biblical literalists and Protestant fundamentalists make: they believe that science and faith are intrinsically opposed to each other and can never, ever be reconciled. It is a falsehood which great Catholic thinkers like our current Pope have strongly, repeatedly repudiated. Science is the one of the means to understanding God’s creation. Not the only means, but definitely one of them. For a religious person to view science as something to be feared and shunned is a gigantic mistake. You are throwing away one of the greatest gifts God has given us.

The mistake is focusing on denomination. I refute any attempt to discredit anything in the Bible. If I allow one brick of my Faith to be declared, in effect, a Lie, then where else?

Science is RADICALLY opposed to the Resurrection. By its very nature. My Faith says Jesus rose again.

Science is (Tries to be) RADICALLY opposed to the Creation. My Faith says it is true.

Science says electricity works, gotta love science! But it cannot explain all things. I do not fear science, I work in the nuclear industry, science is the cornerstone there. It does in fact explain many things about this world God has given us.

But, in Faith, Jesus, and His Word are cornerstones. You make the mistake of ‘painting’ someone who refutes evolution with a label of ‘science-fearer’. Not so, at least here.

It is nothing less than incrementalism, used by the left on our liberties.

Just dilute the Book into a collection of Fairy Tales, nothing believable, nothing to see here. Jesus? Yep, he was a good man, nothing more. That is where that incrementalism will take you.

You need to stop reading things like talkorigins and DC talking points.

Show me one group that thinks that the entire Bible be read literally without recognizing poetry, song, parable, etc. I've challenged many an evolutionist with that and not ONE has ever been able to support that lie.

You also need to demonstrate that any YECers believe that science and faith are intrinsically opposed to each other. Links and sources would be nice.

People think that YECs are like that because of the lies that are spread about them in an effort to discredit belief in creation.

Specifically, what science are you talking here?
