Rampant, in your face, corruption! But guess what, they don't care. They are not even hiding the fact they are totally corrupt any longer. They are no longer elected public servants, they are now the ruling elite.
All that stimulus money actually went somewhere, right? Which means it landed in somebody’s pockets. And it sure wasn’t the pockets of regular folk. Is a detail like this really so surprising?
