The list of 1177 sailors and Marines on the wall is staggering. Very hard to keep composure if you stare at those names, realize who they were, and realize most never had a chance to start a family, or enjoy the 40-60 years of life most of us have ahead of us at that age.

Bunch of kids, ambushed without warning. Had a sober day there today, moment of silence at 0755, floowed with a very slow pass in review of the USS Lake Erie (the missile and satellite filler) flying the flag at half mast. (Crappy cell phone pic.)

Work, work, work, but it’s all good.

Cutting Horse since November 21 through this Sunday, the Christmas Parade, Tree lighting and Choir performances back the day after Thanksgiving through December 20.

This is my only night off until December 21. Good grief, LOL!

But, I feel very fortunate, for sure.

Headed our way

The storm heading toward Southern Arizona with the promise of heavy valley rain and significant mountain snow should hit the area after 6 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

As much as 18 inches of snow is expected at elevations above 7,000 feet, while areas above 5,000 feet could see between two and four inches of accumulation, the weather service said.
