hope he’s got his back covered - for our sakes too.

He’ll be needed to testify = his personal testimony can drive the final wedge - and the Goricals know that.

I have been wondering WHO knew what to ‘hack’/’leak’.

Whether it was an inside job or not he was still a hacker. What employer lets their employees read and copy other employee’s emails?

Thumbs Up to Mr. Wigley

Yes, I agree that this is an interesting article at the Herald Sun by Mr. Bolt; the companion list If the CRU leak was an inside whistleblower, here’s the line-up of potential suspects heroes is also worth a look.

Ruh, roh. The “hacker” “thief” script may be falling apart.

Oh, much more interesting (from the Article):

"And I’m proud to say that for me the answer is a fellow Australian, Adelaide-born Tom Wigley, a senior scientist at the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research and a CRU Visiting Fellow. "

What law is there that made the release of this data illegal?

I cannot help but be reminded of algore’s defense of ‘no controlling legal authority’, sure seems to have been part of this scam.

It is almost certain that the leak of 4000 documents from the University of East Anglia was not the work of a hacker but of a whisteblower. The sheer effort of retrieving, itemising and sorting all those documents, and of weeding out any that were purely personal or irrelevant, required someone who had not just the computer skills and the access, but who knew what was important, and had the motivation to put in countless hours of work....

Actually, I thought this file was collected for freedom of information request that they were still fighting. So it was just one file, very easy for anyone to copy since they mistakenly saved it in a public place..

While we wait for MSM to come to the same conclusion that Climategate is a whistle blower, here are a couple of climategate one liners that have merit-—

1. Associated Press assigned eleven reporters to fact check Sarah Palin’s book but has not yet noticed anything newsworthy about Climategate ——Denis Keohane

2. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Al Gore has had to cancel a Copenhagen speaking event at which he had hoped to charge starry-eyed believers in his ManBearPig religion $1200 a piece for the privilege of shaking his hand, breathing in his CO2 and having his latest book inflicted on them.-— James Delingpole

As the days go by, more and more of the emails and computer files will be analyzed and disected.

In reading this analysis Andrew Bolt made me aware of new facts.

Considering the vast amount of information to dig through and the need to have a lot of prior knowledge about global warming, it does not surprise me that it will take another week or two for more suggestions like the one posited here are brought forward.

The ONLY reason that this is a scandal ( in the liberal’s / main fringe media’s / Global Warming Hoaxsters eyes ) is that they got caught.

If the above is the case, then the whistleblower undoubtedly kept for himself/herself the very most incriminating emails.

Can I suggest perhaps the whistleblower has put into a very secure location certain very incriminating emails between Al Gore and CRU as a life insurance policy??
