Piltdown was proclaimed genuine by several of the most brilliant British scientists of the day: Arthur Smith Woodward, Arthur Keith and Grafton Elliot Smith. How did these faked fragments of bone fool the best scientific minds of the time?
There are several warmists in the USA, Mann comes to mind, and Gore. Mann was never brought to trial for faking the Hockey Stick plot that every schoolkid believes in.
I suspect, though, that Boxer will use the entire justice apparatus of the United States to find the international criminal who embarrassed the UN and Algor. he’ll be beheaded and his head hoisted to the top of the UN flagpole in Turtle Bay.

Boxer is simply jumping on a bandwagon she sees coming down the road. Her statement is so vague that it could mean anything from prosecuting the hacker to prosecuting the emailers.
IMHO Mann and others in the US should be prosecuted for fraud. They have mis-appropriated public funds by using false evidence to support their requests for research funds. If GISS is also compromised (and it most likely is) then Hansen at NASA should also go to jail.
