The article has an oddity.....
It references the police spokesman as stating there were “four male officers and one female officer”
Yet it references that any information to reconstruct what happened would have to come from patrons at the coffee shop....
Five officers referenced, only four killed......Hmmmmmm

Maybe, the shooter was only after one of the officers and shot the others so as not to get shot himself, or, if this was something well thought out, to throw the investigation off.

Troyer said the suspect is a black male, 5-foot-7 to 6 feet tall, 20s to 30s, scruffy appearance, wearing a black coat with a gray sweatshirt underneath, and blue jeans.That's describes half the black men in the damn city. The assailant knew how to look non-descript. This is definitely a professional hit.

It is suspected that a shot was fired at the killer by one of the officers. He may be wounded. KIRO TV reported that a man came into St Joseph Hospital appearing to be wounded, but left without treatment before officers could arrive.
