Noise and interference from news media choppers. The police want immediate and complete control in such a situation.... and I don’t blame them.
It could also be their protocol in our terrorist infested world, especially this close to a military airbase.

The detective was on the radio awhile back with obvious irritation in his voice about the press copters. He said get them OUT of the way. They have air searches going on.

How many terrorists just target those in uniform while leaving the civilians be?
No this sounds a bit like maybe one of the cops was dirty or something or perhaps it was just really personal to the perp.
